United Nations University (UNU), an international community of scholars, generates and disseminates knowledge and strengthens capacities relevant to promoting human security and development. It was established by the General Assembly in 1973. UNU Library is committed to provide reliable and quality library and information services to assist and enhance activities of the university. It emphasizes support for postgraduates, and also supports the special obligation to the general public in Japan and the people of the world.
