The United Nations Visitors' Entrance is located on 1st Avenue between 45th and 46th Street

Ask your bus driver to drop you and your students off in front of the Visitors' Entrance. If the bus driver remains in the vehicle while you take the tour, the bus might be allowed to park in front of UN Headquarters. Please check with the UN security officer at the gate for further instructions.

Before entering the building you will be screened by UN security. Thus, plan to come at least 25 minutes prior to the start of your tour. Advise your students to leave their backpacks on the bus to save time at the security check. Cameras are allowed.

Once in the building, take your group to the end of the Visitors' Lobby where the guided tours start.

As the group leader, check in at the Ticket Desk directly (no need to wait on line) with your confirmation letter, reservation number or the name of your group.

• Credit card, cash and school or organization checks are accepted. Personal checks are not accepted.
• Present payment, which is due upon arrival in one lump sum, to the cashier.
• Make checks payable to UN GUIDED TOURS.
• Please do not mail payments.

After leaving the Ticket Desk, you will be directed to the tour coordinator who will inform you on how to divide your group (with a maximum of 20 people per group up to high school-aged students) and when to go on tour. Group size allowed on tour is subject to change.

Please make sure that each group has at least 1chaperone.
