How to book your tour

When
booking your tour please provide the following information:
- The
date and time you would like to
take the tour
- The
number of participants and the breakdown of the group (eg.
10 adults, 25 students, 15 children)
- Address,
telephone and fax
numbers of school
- Name
and e-mail address of
contact person
Plan
to have enough chaperones so when your students are taking the tour
at least 1 adult is with each group
(maximum of 20 people per group up to high school-aged students) .
How
to prepare your class for the tour
- Visit
the CyberSchoolBus
web site (the UN site for teachers and students) and invite your students
to do the same. On this site you will find classroom activities such
as Quick
Questions that will improve your class' knowledge of world geography.
Organize your classroom into teams to make these activities a fun
learning experience.
- Take
a virtual
tour of the United Nations Headquarters and get an idea of what
you will see once you come to visit us.
