Qualifications

College education. Excellent oral communication skills are essential. Knowledge of international affairs, teaching methods and presentation skills are an asset. Fluency in English and at least one other language is a prerequisite. All applicants must be in the United States legally.

 

Recruitment Procedures

Applicants for the position of Public Information Assistants - tour guides - should fill out a P11 application form and send it via email to toursunhq@un.org

 
Recruitment is conducted at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. A personal interview is required prior to recruitment. Applicants must pay their own expenses in connection with travel for the purpose of the interview and training.
