Media briefing about UN Oceans conference in June 2017

The President of the United Nations General Assembly, the Prime Minister of Fiji, the Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden and UN Under Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs will convene a joint press conference at COP 22 on Tuesday 15 November 2016, from 6-6:30 p.m., to brief the media on the upcoming United Nations Conference to Support the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development taking place at the UN in New York from 5-9 June 2017.

Remarks will be delivered by the President of the UN General Assembly, the two Co-Presidents, as well as the Secretary-General of the conference followed by Q&A.
