UN and Canada to Announce Partnership for World Environment Day

UN Environment and the Government of Canada will hold a joint press briefing to announce their partnership for World Environment Day 2017, an annual global celebration to raise awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Since it began in 1974, World Environment Day has grown to become a global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated in over 100 countries.
