TRAFFIC UPDATES

The largest gathering of world leaders in human history is going to mean more security, more traffic and more inconvenience for New York. Some streets around the United Nations will be closed to traffic.

From Tuesday Sept 13th – Saturday evening on Sept. 17th

  • 1st Ave. from 42nd St to 48th St
  • 42nd Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue

 

Checkpoints

  • 2nd Ave and 42nd St
  • 2nd Ave and 43rd St
  • 2nd Ave and 44th St
  • 2nd Ave and 45th St
  • 2nd Ave and 46th St
  • 2nd Ave and 47th St
  • 2nd Ave and 48th St

Pedestrians will not be able to take the stairs from Tudor City at 43rd Street to 1st Ave stairs
