Contemplating a Change
The Career Resource Centre has a number of workshops that allow you to assess your skills and interests in order to become more aware of your strengths, skill gaps, priorities, and to set new career goals and action plans.

The Road Ahead
This one day workshop provides a supportive environment for you to participate in a number of exercises to help determine your key strengths, skill gaps, preferences, and to develop a career action plan. A review of UN resources to assist you in the career development process is also reviewed and discussed.
Take Control of Your Career
This one day workshop was developed specifically for General Service staff to provide support in designing a career road-map of possibilities, allowing for balanced and satisfying careers within the United Nations. The programme focuses on skills assessment, how to research opportunities, the importance of networking, and culminates in an individual action plan.
The Career Anchors self-assessment provides you with greater insight into how values, or "career anchors" influence career and life choices. The tool is useful in helping you evaluate your past choices and prepare for future ones.
This mini-workshop focuses on how to use career plateaus more positively as a valuable interval to regain perspective, and explore new ideas. All of us face a time in our careers when we feel "stuck" or "plateaued" - when enthusiasm for work isn't what it used to be. Attend this lunchtime session to explore ways to keep learning, growing, and sharing experiences with others.
