HR's Meeting with Chairman of Italian Parliamentary Committee Against World's Hunger

Mr. Anwarul Chowdhury met with the Honourable Mr. Adriano Paroli, Chairman of the Italian Parliamentary Committee in Rome on 5 February 2003. They discussed the role of Italy in the United Nations in supporting the vulnerable groups of countries, that is, the least developed countries, landlocked developing countries and small island developing states. The Chairman expressed strong interest in the development of these three groups of countries. He also extended an invitation to the High Representative to appear for a hearing in the Italian Parliament.
