Registration for the International Meeting

Pre-registration
The deadline for major groups' pre-registration to the official International Meeting was 23 December 2004. 

If you are a member of an accredited organization and have pre-registered for the International Meeting, you should have received a confirmation letter that you will need to bring with you to the registration desk in Mauritius, along with a valid photo ID. If you have not received this letter, please write to the Secretariat at csdmgregister@un.org and confirm a working fax number where your letter may be sent.

Visas
Note that most of the countries participating in the Conference do not require a visa for Mauritius. For those who require a visa, arrangements will be made for visa to be delivered on arrival. However, nationals of certain countries will require a visa before traveling to Mauritius and therefore delegations are advised to check with Mauritius authorities.

The Registration Centre will be located at the Clos St. Louis near Les Pailles Conference Centre. The working hours will be as follows:
 

Please make sure that your organization has the necessary accreditation status BEFORE making travel arrangements for your representatives.

Also, please note that at this time there is no financial support available for non-governmental participants, and your organization will need to make arrangements to cover the cost of your travel to and accommodations in Mauritius for this meeting.
