Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs B. Lynn Pascoe will visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) from 9 to 12 February 2010 as a Special Envoy of the Secretary-General.

Pascoe will discuss with DPRK officials all issues of mutual interest and concern in a comprehensive manner. He will also meet with the UN country team, and members of the diplomatic corps, and will visit several UN project sites.

Pascoe will also visit China, Japan and the Republic of Korea.
