The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Nikos Kotzias, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. They exchanged views on the “name” dispute between Greece and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. They discussed the state of play in the talks for a comprehensive settlement in Cyprus.

The Secretary-General and the Minister for Foreign Affairs also discussed the various ways to ensure protection of migrants and refugees who are making the journey across the Mediterranean Sea. They exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East.
