The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Albert F. del Rosario, Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines.

The Secretary-General discussed the significance of the Philippines’ contributions to UN peacekeeping operations in the Golan Heights and Liberia. They also discussed the South China Sea. The Secretary-General congratulated Secretary del Rosario on the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro and welcomed President Benigno Aquino’s personal commitment to this process.
