The Secretary-General met with H.E. President Juan Carlos Varela, President of the Republic of Panama. They discussed the Climate Summit, the Post-2015 development agenda and preparations for the upcoming Summit of the Americas. The Secretary-General congratulated Panama on its political, economic and social development and thanked the President for hosting the UN Regional Hub.
