The Secretary-General met with President Ollanta Humala of the Republic of Peru.  They discussed climate change and the upcoming meeting of the Conference of Parties that will be held in Lima, Peru, on 9 December 2014.

The Secretary-General expressed great hope for the success of this meeting. The Secretary-General and President Humala also exchanged views about global issues, such as the post-2015 development agenda, as well as the sustainable use of natural resources.
