The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Dervis Eroglu, Turkish Cypriot Leader.

They discussed preparations for the anticipated resumption, in October 2013, of negotiations aimed at achieving a comprehensive settlement in Cyprus.

They exchanged views on progress made in preparing the ground for the resumption of talks, as well as outstanding challenges, and possible confidence-building measures.
