The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Hailemariam Dessalegn, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Chairperson of the African Union.

The Secretary-General thanked the Prime Minister for Ethiopia’s constructive mediation regarding Jubaland in Somalia.

They discussed measures for improving security in Somalia.

They also exchanged views on issues relating to impunity and international justice.
