The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Rossen Plevneliev, President of Bulgaria.  They exchanged views on the Millennium Development Goals and the post-2015 development agenda, including the importance of climate change.

The Secretary-General expressed his appreciation for Bulgaria’s generosity towards Syrian asylum-seekers, and briefed the President on latest international efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis.
