The Secretary-General met this afternoon with H.E. Mr. Nabil ElAraby, Secretary General of the League of Arab States. 

They discussed recent developments regarding the Palestine issue and ways on achieving progress towards a comprehensive and just peace in the Middle East. 

They also discussed the ongoing tragedy in Syria and efforts to find a peaceful and political solution.  They plan to remain in close contact in the coming weeks.
