The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Najib Mikati, Prime Minister of Lebanon.

They discussed the regional situation, particularly the impact of the Syrian crisis on Lebanon. The Secretary-General recognized Lebanon’s generous assistance to refugees from Syria and reiterated the UN’s commitment to mobilize support for such efforts.
