The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Prithviraj Chavan, Chief Minister of Maharashtra State.They exchanged views on Maharashtra’s progress on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and, in particular, health-related issues and programmes. They also discussed increased cooperation and partnerships with the private sector for development.
