The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Meles Zenawi, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, on the margins of the Fourth United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries.

The Secretary-General thanked the Prime Minister for his support for the international community's efforts to resolve the post-election crisis in Cote d'Ivoire.

They also discussed Libya, Sudan, Somalia, climate change and sustainable development

The Secretary-General commended the Prime Minister's leadership on health matters in Ethiopia.
