The Secretary-General met with Mr. Hugo Roger Martínez Bonilla, Foreign Minister of El Salvador, during his visit to Guatemala. The Secretary-General commended El Salvador for seeking a regional approach alongside national efforts to tackle the problem of rising insecurity and criminality.
