Procedures for removing the names of deceased individuals as described in the Committee’s Note Verbale SCA/2/06(8)
The Committee will consider submissions from States to remove the names of deceased individuals from the Consolidated List on a case by case basis. The submitting State should forward the name of the deceased person on the List to the Committee, together with a Statement of Case supporting the de-listing request. This will usually include a death certificate or similar official documentation confirming the death. The submitting State should also ascertain and inform the Committee whether or not any legal beneficiary of the deceased’s estate, or any joint owner of his assets, is also on the Consolidated List.
