The Eighth Programme of Work of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to UNSCR 1540 (2004) (1 February 2009 – 31 January 2010)

The Seventh Programme of Work of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to UNSCR 1540 (2004) (29 April 2008 – 31 January 2009)

The seventh programme of work extended the sixth programme of work until 31 January 2009. By resolution 1810 (2008), the deadline for the submission of the report of the 1540 Committee to the Security Council, was extended to no later than 31 July 2008.

The Sixth Programme of Work of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to UNSCR 1540 (2004) (1 October 2007 – 28 April 2008)

The Committee decided:

  • To approve the extension of the fifth programme of work of the 1540 Committee to cover the period from 1 October 2007 to 28 April 2008.

  • To revise the current programme of work of the 1540 Committee, by including the following:

    By 18 April 2008 the Committee will submit to the Security Council for its examination a report on compliance with resolution 1540 (2004) through the achievement of the implementation of its requirements.

The Fifth Programme of Work of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to UNSCR 1540 (2004) (1 October 2006 – 30 September 2007)

The Fourth Programme of Work of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to UNSCR 1540 (2004) (1 January – 28 April 2006) *

This programme was superseded, following the agreement of the Committee on 27 July 2006, by the Provisional Programme of Work for the period of 28 July - 31 August 2006, based on operative paragraphs 5 and 6 of resolution 1673 (2006)**
