Special Envoy Optimistic About Eradicating Malaria

Last month, American philanthropist Ray Chambers began his mission as UN special envoy for malaria.
The disease, which is spread by mosquitoes, kills up to one million people each year, mostly in Africa. But it is both preventable and curable. UN Radio's Derrick Mbatha sat down with Mr. Chambers to find out about plans to reduce the number of malaria deaths by 2015.
