Secretary-General Condemns Deadly Terrorist Attacks in Southern Iran

Following is a statement issued today by the Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Bank Ki-moon:

The Secretary-General strongly condemns yesterday’s terrorist attacks in the Sistan-Baluchistan province of Iran, which resulted in the death of a large number of people and many injured.  He extends his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and wishes those injured a full recovery.
