Population Activities Unit
  The only United Nations office specialising in population issues in Europe and North America. Promotes dialogues among the Governments of the UNECE Member States on various facets of demographic change in Europe and North America. Coordinates data collection and research activities.

  General information provided includes Integrated Presentation of International Statistical Work Programmes, Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics, links to national Handbooks of Official Statistics and online databases such as the Demographic Database, the Gender Statistics Database and the Human Settlements Database.
