TPIC Functions

TPIC has four main functions namely Resource Base, Information Research and Analysis, Information Service, and Production and Dissemination. Its objectives are:
  1. To collect and organize population and family health-related data systematically and provide the capability for easy access and analysis.
  2. To serve as national focal point of bibliographic and statistic population and family health information resource base.
  3. To promote inter/intra country flow of materials and information by serving as a center for the collection and redistribution of population and family health information.
  4. To serve as a link among Thai POPIN, ASEAN POPIN and
  5. Asia-Pacific POPIN.
