Danny RahdiansyahDanny Rahdiansyah is a Senior Adviser on Peace and Security, General Assembly Revitalization and First Committee within the Office of the President of the 71st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Previously, Danny served at the Permanent Mission of Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations, New York, covering issues related to Security Council, Security Council reform, General Assembly revitalization, and Secretary-General selection. He was also a delegate to the Fifth Committee, coordinating the agenda item on Accountability, and the Assistant to the Head of Chancery on human resource affairs.

A career diplomat since 2003, Danny has served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia in the Front Office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, as part of a dynamic team that provided substantive and operational support to the Minister’s daily activities. He also worked in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Department of the Ministry for several years, when Indonesia was Chair of ASEAN. He was previously posted at the Indonesian Embassy in Rome, where he was responsible for issues related to FAO and IFAD. During that posting, he was also seconded to IFAD in the Loan and Grants Team and later as Interim Adviser to the Assistant President for Finance and Administration.
