Special Assistant to the President
Signe Schelde Poulsen is the Special Assistant to the President of the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Prior to joining the Office, Signe was Second Secretary at the Embassy of Denmark in Addis Ababa, where she was responsible for Denmark’s engagement in South Sudan. She has also served three years in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she covered positions in the Department of Development Policy and Global Cooperation, the Secretariat for the annual high-level Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) and in the Secretariat of the Directorate as Press Adviser to the Danish Minister of European Affairs.
Prior to joining the Ministry, Signe worked in the Danish Parliament with a focus on development policy.
