Francis Akali Oloo is an intern with the Office of the President of the 71st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, New York. He won the prestigious Wim Deetman Scholarship Award and is a graduate of Leiden University with a Master’s degree in Public International Law (the Netherlands) and Moi University with a Bachelor’s degree in Law (Kenya). He is also awaiting to graduate from Selcuk University with a Master’s degree in Public Law (Turkey).
Prior to his internship with the Office of the President of the General Assembly, Francis worked as an intern with Share-Net International, Amsterdam, from August to November 2016 and the Kenya Human Rights Commission, Nairobi, from November 2012 to September 2013.
He has a special interests in human rights, international humanitarian law and international relations.
