Senior Adviser, Stakeholder Engagement
Tala Dowlatshahi is the Senior Adviser for Stakeholder Engagement in the Office of the President of the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Tala manages OPGA’s engagement with a wide variety of stakeholders including civil society, the private sector, foundations, youth networks, academia, NGOs and UN agencies. In this regard, she works to form and build lasting, strategic partnerships on key policy areas on the agenda of the UN General Assembly including on sustainable development.
In a previous capacity, Tala served as a Technical Officer for Advocacy and Resource Mobilization for the World Health Organization in the Family and Community Health Cluster. She has also worked with the UNDP in the crisis bureau.
Tala also served as Head of Communities for the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology where she served as a lead for over 250 partners including security think tanks, UN agencies, NGOs and civil society and academic groups.
