Ulla Oestergaard

Special Media Adviser and Deputy Spokesperson

Ulla Oestergaard is the special media adviser and Deputy Spokesperson within the Office of the President of the 70^th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. As well as dealing with media inquiries at the UN, she is also responsible for liaison with the Danish media.

Before joining the Office of the President, Ulla was Editor in Chief of TV2 News, the Danish 24 hours News Channel covering Danish and International politics. She has worked as Political Correspondent for several Danish newspapers and for the Government of Denmark as a media adviser.

Before becoming a journalist, she worked in the European Parliament in Brussels for five years.

She speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French and Danish.
