Mr. Babu Lal Jain

Babu Lal Jain is currently Senior Advisor, United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP). He facilitates key partnerships and alliances between the private sector and the United Nations in furtherance of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. Mr. Jain has an extensive career in international business, consultancy and entrepreneurship. Currently, executive positions he holds within the private sector include: Chairman, Entrepreneurship Committee of the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India, and Senior Member, Managing Committee, ASSOCHAM, New Delhi, India. Mr. Jain is also a member of the Advisory Board, Kins Group, New York.

Over the years, Mr. Jain has nurtured and guided world class businesses such as the EAAR Consultancy Services and Bio Mantra (Bio Informatics Organization) of which he is Chief Executive Officer. Subsequently, He currently serves as Chairman, WICS (WBF International Centre Services) and Chairman and Managing Director, Rajasthan Leather Industries Ltd. He is also Partner, Tonk Tannery Private Limited, AB Craft Fashion Sourcing House and M/s Hemline, Import-Export Company.

As part of his career as a business consultant, he conducted risk management seminars for the Small Industries Development Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank, the Central Bank of India and officials of the Indian Finance Ministry. His reputable consultancy services in Fashion, Pharmaceutical, Gem and Jewelry endeared him to clients from Europe, United Arab Emirates and the United States of America. Mr. Jain holds a degree from Rajasthan University in Political Science and Economics.
