Dr. Annelie Hochkofler

Representative for Europe and Asia

Annelie Hochkofler supports the United Nation ideals and UNOP team by her longstanding governmental experience on state, federal, and international levels - her particular expertise being tie-ins with civil society as well as the corporate world.

She served the Governor of the State of Styria/Austria as General Manager of the Political Program Department. Thence she was sent to the United States of America on diplomatic mission as Special Envoy. The targets were international cooperations in the fields of Culture, Environment, Science, Research, Economy, including Political Agendas.

Following outstanding success in the United States her mission was expanded to Canada, Japan, Korea, Hongkong, China, Singapore and Australia. Ms. Hochkofler holds an M.A. and a Doctorate in Philosophy including special fields of Economy and Political Sciences from the University of Graz/Austria. She received a journalistic education at the same university and studied Management in Switzerland. Multiple courses at the Universities of Perugia (IT), Bologna (IT) and London (UK) further widened her perspectives, as did lecturing and trainings at institutions of higher learning in Austria as well as abroad.

She now serves the UNOP as Representative for Europe and Asia.
