NY Sri Lankan Friendship Montessory

It is a school for small children whose parents live in “border line” villages under terrorist threat in Sri Lanka due to the ongoing terrorist problems there.  The parents want a safe haven for the children while they are out at work in the fields.  This school provides the children with the security necessary, as well as a good educational foundation, thus raising well-balanced and intelligent children.  They need  funds for buildings, maintenance, furniture, supplies, feeding program and salaries for the teachers.  Funded in 2007.
