Siaya Community-Oriented Development Program

This is an orphanage, shelter, school, home and hospital all in one for 350 children ranging in age from 7 – 24.  Most of the young population of this district were orphaned by HIV/AIDS or natural illnesses and were being cared for by grandparents or other relatives.  They have a feeding program which promotes a balanced diet and they also promote income-generating activities.  They lack  proper building facilities and also funds to support the children pursuing secondary education.  They are in need of support of everything.  Funded in 2007.


Combioni Missionaires (Verona Fathers)

Feeding program in Rocky Hill, Gilgil, Kenya.  Funded in 2003, 2000.


Karabondi Primary School

This is a primary school in Kenya.  Funds are used to buy school supplies, school uniforms, school furniture, shoes and books for the children, especially those that have been orphaned by AIDS.  There are 300 needy children attending this school. Funds are required for repairs of the building including the leaky roof and the broken doors and also to build a toilet.  Funded in 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004.


Nyumbani Children’s Home

This is a home for 95 children infected with HIV.  The Home cares for them until a definitive assessment of their HIV status is made.  If they are found devoid of the HIV virus, they are adopted or find other homes.  Those who are HIV positive are kept and given nutritious food, clean water, medical care and education until they become self-reliant.  The project has expanded to include a diagnostic laboratory and a school for children up to age 7 on the Nyumbani grounds.  It also runs a community based outreach program for HIV positive children living in the Nairobi slum areas.  These children are provided with food, clothes, medical care and day care while their parents work.  Funded in 2007 and 2005.


Brothers of St. Charles Lwanga

This organization which we support since 1997, targets disabled children, street children or would be street children and orphans as well as any other vulnerable children between 0-17 years of age.  Currently the project looks after 700 children in four centers.


Ukwelli Home of Hope

This project supported since 1997 is a Feeding Center for boys in the streets providing  food for 30-50 boys daily.  They also have children  rehabilitation centers which provide shelter for boys willing to leave the streets.  They have successfully rehabilitated 64 boys over the last three years. Our donations are used to provide basic needs such as food, shelter, chothing, medical care and education.



RAFIKI Rehabilitation Programme

This is a Rehabilitation Center for 1320 Aids patients.


Sino Village Aids Orphans

The primary activity of this organization is helps aids orphaned children in the village of Nyanza by providing them education and medical assistance, food, clothes, uniforms, school supplies, etc. They work with about 30 children from 3 to 18 years old.  Funded in 2006.
