Ass. Des Paysans de Vallue (APV)This is a hospital and school for very poor children from very poor families offering them quality education supplying them with books and materials, providing them a hot meal a day. There are 180 children, 3 – 6 years. Funded in 2007, 2006, 2005, 2003.
Enfant Haitien Mon FrereThis project is an orphanage and day care center for about 70 children. Provides meals, education, medical care, room and board. Funded in 2006, 2005, 2004, 2002, 2001.
Association for the Children of RegnierThis project is an orphanage and school with 700 children of varying age. They provide the children with meals, education, school supplies, uniforms and medical care. Funded in 2006 (by CB and SG), 2005, 2003, 2001, 2002, 2000.
Association des Enfants de Fatima d'HaitiOrphanage for children with special needs, placing them in foster homes, provides them with education and financial and emotional assistance. They provide educational assistance such tuition, supplies and clothing. It receives no assistance from the Government. The annual budget is $8,919.00. It has 1 salaried staff and 15 volunteers. Funded in 2006, 2005.
Friends of the children of LAS CAHOBASThis project provides necessary health care for 1570 needy children faced with poor nutrition and childhood illnesses.
Ecole Step by Step--Les Trois MousquetairesSupported since 2005. This is a day care center and school for 120 children aged 2 to 6 years. School is dedicated to early childhood education. They assist parents by purchasing necessary books and school supplies for the children. Funds are also used, when available, to supply the children with at least one meal per day. They are in need of funds for equipment for the children's outdoor play activities.
Asosyasyon Orijine Gran Plenn (AOG)This Association has a school in the rural community of Gros-Morne, which helps to train the children from preschool to the sixth grade. They serve 300 children from 3 to 16 years old. Funded in 2005, 2006, 2007.
La Maison l'Arc-en-CielOrphanage for 36 children with HIV/AIDS provides schooling and medical care. Also conducts a day-care centre and an outreach program for 404 children and youth ages 0-23. Funded in 2006.
