Associacion Religiosas de Maria ImmaculadaThis is a school and home for young children and adolescents who have been victims of violence or children whose mothers prefer to work, providing shelter and day care, food, training in preparation for independent living, primary and secondary education and home for those in higher education. They have about 40 chjldren in their care. Funded in 2005 and 2004.
Fundacion SonreirThis is a school No. 157 assigned by the Dept of Education located in a very poor area. Cares for about 150 children, paying for their tuition, books, supplies, uniforms, organizing events for the children and giving them presents, toys, shoes, clothes, etc. Wellness program. Funded 2003, 2002.
Association Baranquilla de CaridadTheir mission is to provide protection, prevention and education for girls who have been violated and help them reintegrate within their family. It is also a primary school. The families are also receiving education on child abuse. The government helps in the form of daily refreshments for the students. Throughout the years, they have helped 500 girls and families. Funded in 2006, 2002, 2000.
Liceo Isabel la CatolicaThis is essentially a feeding program for the elementary school with hundreds of children. They will feed as many children as possible with available funds. Funded in 2006, 2005, 2004.
Siervas de JesusThis is a day care center and shelter for about 40-50 abused, neglected, malnouriches children, feeding them, caring for them, taking their weight and height, taking care of their health. Funded in 2006, 2004, 2002, 2000.
Nuestra CasaIt is a day care center, a rehabilitation center and shelter. It helps the children through education, therapy, and providing support for them to handle different situations, problems, parental separations and conflicts within the family and in school. It also counsel the parents by educating on how to raise their children, helping them with their drug problems, alcoholism, divorce. They have from 70-100 children ranging in age from 1 – 18. Funded in 2007, 2006, 2005.
Fundacion multiactiva para el Mejoramiento de las condiciones de vida “Meconvida”The title means “Mesa, Comida Y Vida”. It is a day care center, school, and shelter. It is directed towards families that have been displaced by violence, people living in very poor areas. They have a feeding program and provides medical assistance to poor communities. Funded in 2007 by Secretariat Group
Fundacion Ayude a un NinoSupported since 2006. This is an orphanage and day care center for 33 children from birth to 9 years. The project keeps the children off the streets by giving them shelter, food, clothing and stimulation for psychological development.
