PROMISES TO KEEP CAMPAIGN
“One hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like. But the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child.” --- Anonymous
Back in 1948, a group of wives of UN Officials made a commitment to work for the welfare of needy children in war-torn Europe. Since then, the United Nations Women’s Guild’s work has spread to Africa, Asia and the Americas. Today, UNWG remains steadfast in keeping its promise to work for the welfare of needy children around the world.
The Women’s Guild is launching “Promises to Keep” 2007 – a fund-raising campaign to support the different projects of the Women’s Guild. Be a part of this worthwhile endeavor and make a difference in the life of a child.
