Membership Drive 2007

"Our children are our only hope for the future, but we are their only hope for their present and their future."
--Zig Ziglar

The women’s guild has come a long way from the time it started after World War II, when a group of wives of UN Secretariat officials formed an association to help needy children in war-torn Europe. In the United States, the four groups under the umbrella of UNWG – Manhattan, Westchester, Queens and the Secretariat – have raised money to assist children’s hospitals, orphanages, schools and different charities dedicated to the service of handicapped children. In 2006, the Guild assisted 108 institutions with the total of US$ 126,500.00.

We can do much more to ensure a better future for the needy children of the world.
