AFICS/NY has sister organizations in Argentina, Australia, Austria,
Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Congo, Congo
Democratic Republic, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia,
France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali,
Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru,
Russian Federation, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, United
Kingdom, United States of America and Uruguay.
Together they form the "Federation of Associations of Former
International Civil Servants" (FAFICS).
As of 31 December 2010 AFICS/NY Membership stood at 3,452 members
residing in 109 countries, including chapters in Washington D.C. and
Florida.
Members of other FAFICS Assocations may become associate members of
AFICS/NY.
AFICS/NY Membership is open to all present or former staff members of
the UN system at every level, as well as their surviving spouses.

Members are encouraged to volunteer in AFICS/NY activities.

Association, 1,944 Life members, 184 Members over 85, 1,194 Annual
Members, and 116 Associate Members.
