UN will support Colombia's 'drive to build a future in peace,' says Ban as historic talks conclude



Congratulating the Colombian Government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia – People's Army (FARC-EP) on reaching a deal to end more than 50 years of conflict, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today pledged the ongoing support of the United Nations system to the two sides as they muster the “equally determined and exemplary effort” that will be required to implement the agreements.
