Enable - The United Nations Global Programme on Disability; is the lead United Nations office to implement
- The World Programme of Action concerning Disabled Persons, adopted by the General Assembly in 1982 and
 - The Standard Rules on Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities, adopted in 1994. Priorities include:
- Support for full and effective participation of persons with disabilities in social life and development
- Advancing the rights and protecting the dignity of persons with disabilities
- Promoting equal access to employment, education, information, goods and services.

Enable serves as United Nations Secretariat for the:
- General Assembly Ad Hoc Committee
on A Comprehensive and Integral International Convention to Promote and Protect the Rights and Dignity of Persons with Disabilities
