No. IT-94-1-T / DEFENDANT : Mr. Dusko Tadic Pursuant to Rules 72 (B) and 108 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence, on 14 August 1995 the defence filed a notice of appeal against the decision of the Trial Chamber of 10 August 1995 dismissing the motion on the jurisdiction of the Tribunal. In conformity with Rule 116 bis (B) the defence has proposed the following time schedule for an expedited appeal procedure 14
August 1995 filing of the notice of appeal by the defence; 25 August 1995 filing
of the brief of argument by the defence (on request to be extended by one week
to 1 September1995); 1 September 1995 filing of the brief in reply by the prosecution
(on request to be extended by one week to 8 September 1995); 7/8 September 1995
hearing of the appeal ( or 11/12 September 1995 if any request for extension
is received).
An order confirming the above schedule is expected to be issued shortly by the President of the Tribunal, Judge Cassese. |
