TRIBUNAL RECEIVES SPANISH AWARD FOR ITS ACHIEVEMENTS

The Tribunal received today the Award Justice in the World, given by the Madrid-based Foundation Justice in the World for its achievements, in particular for the independence in which it carries out its mandate.
The award was received on behalf of the Tribunal by President Fausto Pocar during a solemn ceremony attended by the judicial authorities of Spain. Also attending the awards ceremony was the Tribunal's Registrar Hans Holthuis and several Tribunal judges.
The Foundation Justice in the World is comprised of Spanish jurists and is affiliated with the International Association of Judges.
