RAMUSH HARADINAJ GRANTED PROVISIONAL RELEASE TO ATTEND BROTHER’S FUNERAL

 

Today, 16 April 2005, Judge Bonomy issued a Decision granting provisional release to Ramush Haradinaj for a limited period, to enable him to attend his brother’s funeral and post funeral ceremonies.

The provisional release was granted subject to certain specific terms and conditions outlined in the Decision. They include the following:

 

    • the Accused shall not have or attempt to have contacts with potential Prosecution witnesses in the case against him or any of the surviving witnesses referred to in the indictment, or attempt in any way to interfere with the administration of justice;

    • the Accused shall not have or attempt to have contacts with a representative of any media organisation.
