Judge of High Court of South Africa, Transvaal Provincial Division


As a judge at the Land Claims Court of South Africa, Judge Moloto heard disputes arising from laws underpinning South Africa’s land reform initiative.

As a judge at the Transvaal Provincial Division of the High Court of South Africa, Judge Moloto focused, amongst others, on any constitutional matter not falling within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court. He was also concerned with the general jurisdiction and review of the proceedings taking place in lower courts.

Judge Moloto is a member of the Legal Aid Board. He is also Trustee of the Black Lawyers Association Legal Education Trust and Chairman of the National Archives Advisory Council.
