INTRODUCTION:
Théoneste Bagosora former Director of Cabinet at The Ministry of Defence was born on 16.8.1941 in Giciye commune, Gisenyi prefecture. He was arrested in the territory of the Republic of Cameroun on 9.3.1996 by the Camerounian authorities.He was transfered to Arusha on 23.1.1997.
INDICTMENT:
The Prosecutor filed an indictment on 9.8.1996 and the same was confirmed on 10.8.1996 by Judge Lennart Aspegren.The initial appearance was later held on 7.3.1997 and the accused pleaded not guilty to all counts.
